As the name would suggest, we've provided a compilation of answers to the questions our clients most commonly ask, and you'll find those answers starting here...

  1. How long does it take for you to complete my order?
  2. What is a "proof"?
  3. Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
  4. Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?
  5. How can I get a credit application for my company?
  6. How can I get a W-9 tax ID for Mele Printing?
  7. How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
  8. Is there any sort of information packet about Mele Printing that I can download to show clients?

  1. How long does it take for you to complete my order?
Mele Printing takes pride in the quality and performance of all services we provide. However, because each job is unique in its own way, Mele stands by the fact that most jobs are completed and sent for delivery within five business days or less. (Contact your service representative today for details on your job specifications.)

  2. What is a "proof"?
A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. Typically, we will produce a proof which will be sent to you online or printed on paper which can be viewed in our store or delivered to you in person.

On multiple color jobs, we can produce a color proof on our color output device to show how the different colors will appear.

  3. Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
We employ human beings to produce your work and, last time we checked, humans are not perfect. Your approval on the final proof is assurance that you have looked over every aspect of our work and approve it as accurate. It benefits everyone if errors are caught in the proofing process rather than after the job is completed and delivered.

  4. Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?

  5. How can I get a credit application for my company? It's easy, just download and complete the file, and either give to your customer service representative or fax it to 985-871-1011. Someone will contact you with details.

  6. How can I get a W-9 tax ID for Mele Printing?
For your convenience we have prepared a document for you that will enable your company to setup Mele Printing as a vendor. Just download, open the file in Acrobat and print. It's that easy!

  7. How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
Well, since you are here, we would suggest you use our online estimate request form. Otherwise, the best way to ensure that we get all the information necessary to do an accurate quote, give us a call and talk with one of our customer service representatives.

  8. Is there any sort of information packet about Mele Printing that I can download to show clients? This PDF is a great source of information about Mele Printing. It includes an excellent list of DTP do's and dont's, helpful press sheet size layouts, as well as, an equipment list and their capabilities.
